Two Arrests Follow Peter’s Body Shop Burglary

Two Quincy men are in custody following the theft of tools, equipment and a vehicle from Peter's Body Shop.

Adams County Sheriffs deputies were called to Peter's early Thursday morning following the discovery of an overnight burglary. Deputies say over ten thousand dollars in tools and equipment was taken along with a vehicle. That car was later found burned in the north bottoms.

Deputies say investigators found tools and equipment taken in the burglary in a basement at 1429 North Fourth. Additional tools and equipment were found at another residence.

The investigation results in the arrests of 26-year-old Justin Winningham and 28-year-old Samuel Winningham of Quincy on burglary charges. Both were taken to the Adams County Jail pending an initial court appearance.
