Two Arrested, One Being Sought After Two-State Chase

A Quincy man and woman are arrested and a third person is being sought in connection with an incident in Quincy early Wednesday morning.

The Adams County Sheriff’s office received a report about 12:20 a.m. Wednesday that Missouri law enforcement was in pursuit of a pickup truck they had attempted to stop for traffic violations.

The pickup crossed into Quincy and Adams County deputies picked up the chase.

Deputies arrested 22 year old Christopher Gravitt and 39 year old Monica Baker, both of Quincy for obstruction of justice.

The driver of the truck abandoned the vehicle at 6th and Jefferson and fled on foot. He is still being sought as the investigation into the incident continues.
