Two Arrested for October Rural Adams County Burglary

A four-month investigation by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office results in the arrest of two Quincy men on burglary charges.

Deputies report there was a residential burglary in the rural Mendon area last October. The investigation led to the arrests Thursday of 29 year old Benjamin Gustafson and 20 year old Travis Childress, both of Quincy.

Both are charged with residential burglary and are in the Adams County Jail on $100,000 bond each.

Officials say more charges are pending and an additional arrest is anticipated.
