Trial Date Set in Pike County, MO Scrap Metal Theft
An April 27 trial date has been set for a Frankford man accused of participating in a scrap metal theft.
William Morton is charged with burglary and theft. A pre-trial hearing is March 26. Authorities allege that Morton and three other suspects were involved in stealing tubing and other metal items from a rural Curryville home last July. Investigators claimed some of the items were sold to a Vandalia business.
Also charged in the case are Ryan Pollock of Fulton, Joshua Bagley of Vandalia and Ashley Wilson of Hannibal. They have counsel status hearings January 21.
