4 Arrests in Pike County in Copper Thefts

An investigation into the theft of copper wire in Pike County Missouri leads to four arrests.
Pike County Sheriff Stephen Korte says a deputy on patrol August 2nd was checking on cell phone towers when he saw lights go out on a tower near Eolia. A traffic stop a short time later resulted in the arrests of 39 year old Christina Weaver of Roxana Illinois, 44 year old Wendell Ragsdale of Springfield, 19 year old Taylor James of Litchfield, and 20 year old Haley Suhling of Batchtown. Sheriff Korte says authorities are still investigating and compiling charges.
