Two Men Sentenced Following Rockport IL Burglary

Two of three men charged following a burglary in Rockport Illinois enter guilty pleas.
The Pike County Illinois Sheriff’s Department says 42 year old Michael Smith pled guilty to burglary and theft. He was sentenced to four years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. 34 year old Jaime Kessler of LaBelle received a three year sentence following his guilty plea to burglary charges. 37 year old Christopher Smith of Quincy is scheduled for arraignment in Pike County on March 17. Those charges follow a burglary complaint on August 29^th. The victim reported his shop was burglarized. Over ten thousand dollars worth of tools were stolen.
