Hannibal Police make three arrests as the result of an investigation into an attempted prescription scam.

On December 4th, police were contacted about fraudulent prescriptions being filled by unknown subjects.

Taken into custody at a local pharmacy Wednesday were 43 year old Siende Holliday of Davenport, Iowa and 22 year olds Travis Bonaparte and Derrius Cole, both of Chicago.

A search of the suspects’ vehicle uncovered fraudulently obtained prescriptions from several locations in Missouri. Officers also located what is believed to be marijuana.

All three suspects are charged with fraudulently attempting to obtain a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. Holliday is also charged with forgery.

Cole was issued a city summons for marijuana possession and released pending further review. Holliday and Bonaparte are in custody on $50,000 cash only bond each.
