When I was a little girl, I remember watching The Price is Right with my grandmother and we would always try to play the games. It's one of my favorite memories.

So when I saw this map of the Best Classic Game Shows in each state it brought back all those fond memories. Surprisingly, Family Feud came out onto of being the very best out of 50 states with 10 states picking it as number one, including Illinois. Family Feud has had a long history of amazing hosts since it first aired in 1975.

  1. Richard Dawson (1976-1985 & 1994-1995)
  2. Ray Combs (1988-1994)
  3. Louie Anderson (1999-2002)
  4. Richard Karn (2002-2006)
  5. John O'Hurley (2006-2010)
  6. Steve Harvey (2010-present)

Coventry Diet put together this survey and found the top 5 Classic Games Shows are:

  1. Family Feud
  2. Name That Tune
  3. The Price is Right
  4. Wheel of Fortune
  5. Jeopardy!

Missouri and Iowa's both voted Wheel of Fortune as the most popular game show for the state. With all the streaming devices that is available today, it's nice to see some of these major networks bringing back some of these game shows. Although, I think some care too classics and just need to be left for the Game Show Network.

Family Feud is always fun to watch and you just never know what is going to come out of people's mouth's that's why I think it's so popular to this day. I find myself watching the show every now and then just laughing on the couch from some of the answers that contestants give.
