Texting Crash on US 61

Missouri Highway Patrol troopers say texting while driving is a factor in a one car crash early Tuesday morning along US 61 four miles north of Palmyra.

The Patrol says a car driven by 23-year -ld Derek Doran of Quincy went off US 61 at 5 a.m. and hit an embankment.

Doran was taken to Blessing Hospital in Quincy for treatment of minor injuries.
