A major street re-paving project is underway in Hannibal.
Work is underway on Fifth north of Bird as seen above. Milling work is also complete on Fourth. Rock Street is also included in this round of work. . Those projects are the start of a six million dollar project approved this spring by the Hannibal City Council. Plans are to repair every sub par street in Hannibal within a three year period. Mayor James Hark says the plan will rebuild nearly 57% of Hannibal’s 117 miles of streets. .Recently issued revenue bonds are paying for the work.

The City of Hannibal asks your patience with the repaving work throughout the summer as weather conditions permit.
