St. Louis Man Arrested in Stolen Handgun Incident

Hannibal Police were called to the Gordon and Richmond Street area just before 11:30 p.m. Wednesday on a report of a stolen handgun.

When officers arrived, the victim reported he had been assaulted by 25 year old Corey Cobb of St. Louis, who had stolen the victim’s handgun during the assault.

Cobb was taken into custody without incident. The gun was found hidden in a yard and seized as evidence.

Cobb was taken to the Marion County Jail on a 24 hour hold.

The victim suffered minor injuries and did not require medical attention.
