An ongoing investigation and the execution of search warrant Thursday morning results in the arrest of five Hannibal residents on drug and firearm related charges.

Hannibal Police were called to the Gordon and Richmond Street area just before 11:30 p.m. Wednesday on a report of a stolen handgun.

Four Hannibal residents are taken into custody Monday afternoon on burglary charges. Hannibal Police were called to the Wyaconda and Patricia Lane area at 1:49 p.m. Monday on a report of a suspicious vehicle.

A Hannibal man is taken into custody Tuesday on assault charges. According to Hannibal Police, officers responded to a report of an assault in progress at a business in the 300 block of Highway 61 South Tuesday afternoon.
