St. Louis Man Arrested for Drug Induced Homicide
A St. Louis man was taken into custody Friday in connection with the 2015 death of a Quincy man.
Quincy Police report the arrest of 37 year old Michael Frazier by U.S. Marshals in Pontoon Beach, Missouri.
Frazier is charged with drug induced homicide in connection with the death of Joseph Martinez.
Martinez was found dead in his home in the 900 block of Hampshire July 12th, 2015. It was discovered that Martinez died of heroin and fentanyl toxicity.
An investigation determined that Frazier was the source of the fentanyl-laced heroin.
An Adams County grand jury indicted Frazier last October.
Frazier had been placed on probation in Adams County in 2016 after being found guilty of unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
Frazier is in the Adams County Jail on $100,000 bond.
