Someone Turned this Old Missouri Gas Station into a Place to Stay
I can truthfully say that I've never wished I could sleep at a gas station, but I found a place in Missouri that may cause me to change my mind. It used to be an old gas station, but someone has renovated it into a nice place to stay and it even has a lake behind it.
I found this lakefront studio guest home on Airbnb in New Haven, Missouri. It used to be the Mobil gas station. Here's how the host describes it:
What was once used as a fueling station at McCurdy Farm is now a quaint, re-purposed vacation rental - perfect for a comfortable guest home. This 1-bath studio is ideal for a romantic getaway or quiet respite for a solo traveler. Fish at the property's private lake a few steps away, enjoy wine tasting at vineyards along the Hermann Wine Trail, or lounge on the expansive deck while taking in the serene views.
I can guarantee you one thing. This place has the nicest gas station bathroom you'll ever see. Truly.
Someone Turned this Old Missouri Gas Station into a Place to Stay
There are a lot of activities to do in this part of Missouri as the host mentioned above. The nightly cost as of this writing is $118 according to the Airbnb listing which seems pretty reasonable considering that nice lake view. Dreamy. I can think of a zillion worse ways to spend your weekend than staying in what used to be a Missouri gas station.
