A total of six people are injured and one is ticketed in four separate traffic crashes in western Illinois and northeast Missouri over the weekend.

A passenger is hurt and the driver is ticketed in an ATV crash at 405 N and 825 E in Brown County just before 10:15 p.m. Saturday.

The Illinois State Police reports 23 year old Bayley Wiese of Versailles was eastbound when he lost control of his ATV. The vehicle went up an embankment and overturned.
Wiese refused medical treatment at the scene.

His passenger, 21 year old Emerson Mohan of Jacksonville, was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Wiese was ticketed for DUI alcohol and illegal operation of an ATV on the roadway.

 

A Monroe City woman escapes with minor injuries in a one car crash on Scott’s Lane south of Hannibal in Ralls County at 3:35 a.m. Saturday.

The Highway Patrol reports 19 year old Jordyn Castro was eastbound when her car ran off the road and came to rest on its side.

Castro was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment.

 

Two Pleasant Hill, Illinois residents suffer minor injuries in a motorcycle crash on Ralls County Route T east of New London at 3:25 p.m. Saturday.

The Highway Patrol reports 56 year old Philip Chenoweth was southbound when his motorcycle ran off the road and overturned.

Philip Chenoweth told authorities he would seek his own treatment. His passenger, 58 year old Martha Chenoweth, was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment.

 

A couple from Troy suffer minor injuries in a motorcycle crash on Highway 79 north of Pike County Route TT at 1:20 p.m. Saturday.

The Highway Patrol reports 38 year old Joshua O’Keefe was northbound when he failed to negotiate a curve and his motorcycle ran off the road.

Joshua O’Keefe was treated at the scene. His passenger, 40 year old Laura O’Keefe, was taken by Air Evac to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.
