Shelbina Traffic Stop Results in Marijuana Arrest

A Saturday morning traffic stop at Shelbina results in two drug arrests.
Shelbina Police stopped a vehicle driven by Cartez Walker of Springfield Illinois for a traffic violation. During the stop,  officers located a large amount of marijuana and a loaded hand gun. Walker and a passenger—Ebony Swope of Springfield were taken into custody for delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm. Walker and Swope were taken to the Shelby County Jail pending issuance of a warrant.
