Rollover Crash Seriously Injures Two

A one-car rollover crash in Monroe County results in serious injuries for two occupants.The Missouri Highway Patrol reports the accident happened on US 24, one mile west of Madison at 10:15 p.m. Friday.

Troopers say an SUV driven by 23 year-old Sidney Freese of Madison ran off the roadway and overturned.  Freese and a passenger, 21 year-old Zachary Cullom of Holliday, were ejected from the vehicle.  Cullom suffered serious injuries and went to University Hospital in Columbia by ambulance. Freese was airlifted to University Hospital.

The report indicates neither person was wearing a seat belt.
