Palmyra Police are investigating a series of vehicle break-ins.

According to Chief Eddie Bogue, there were several reports of vehicles that were unlawfully entered within a two block radius on the north side of town late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning.

Bogue said four unlocked vehicles were entered, but only one had an item taken, a .223 caliber rifle.

It’s not known if these incidents are related to a series of burglaries north of Palmyra Tuesday morning.

Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to contact Palmyra Police at 573-769-5540.
