No Adult Charges Following Palmyra B-B Gun Incident
A special prosecutor appointed following a B-B gun incident involving Palmyra Police Chief Eddie Bogue near Palmyra says no charges will be filed.
Monroe County Prosecuting Attorney Talley Kendrick was appointed as a special prosecutor in the case by Marion County Judge John Jackson. A statement from Kendrick’s office says that, investigators have found no probable cause to believe a crime was committed and therefore the special prosecuting attorney has determined that criminal charges are not appropriate. The appointment as a special prosecuting attorney only conveys authority regarding adult criminal investigations. The statement concludes by saying the Monroe County Prosecuting Attorney does not handle juvenile matters and will not be commenting on any juvenile matter in regards to this investigation. The investigation started after a Palmyra woman was shot in the shoulder with a B-B gun by someone on Bogue’s property on July 5th.
