Hannibal Man Charged with Attempted Sodomy

A Hannibal man is in the Marion County Jail on sodomy charges.

According to Marion County State’s Attorney David Clayton, 28 year old DeForest Sims IV was arrested and charged Thursday with attempted statutory sodomy.

Sims is alleged to have improperly touched a girl under the age of fourteen.
Sims is lodged in the Marion County Jail.
