MAN RUN OVER BY 6 YEAR OLD SON
An Alexandria, Missouri man sustains serious injuries after he is run over by his own truck..

The Highway Patrol reports the accident happened on private property off Main Street in St. Francisville at 5:40 p.m. Friday.

Troopers say 25 year-old Rex Wright was standing beside the open driver’s door of his Dodge Ram when his 6 year-old son accelerated in reverse. The truck knocked Wright down and ran over him.

Wright went to Blessing Hospital in Quincy by Air Evac.

HANNIBAL MAN AIRLIFTED TO HOSPITAL AFTER GOLF CART MISHAP
A Hannibal man is flown to the hospital after he is struck by a golf cart.

The Missouri State Patrol reports the golf cart driven by a 7 year-old child struck the pedestrian at 7 p.m. Friday. Troopers say the accident happened as the child was backing the golf cart on private property near Scipio Lane, ½ mile north of Hannibal.

The cart struck 41 year-old Travis Ferreira of Hannibal. Ferreira sustained moderate injuries and went to a Columbia hospital by Survival Flight helicopter.

TRUCK HITS YOUNG PEDESTRIAN ON SHEPHERD PLACE
Hannibal Police respond to a car-pedestrian accident around 5 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of Shepherd Place.

Witnesses told police a 59 year-old man was driving east on Shepherd Place when his pickup struck a juvenile female who had entered the roadway. The pedestrian was taken to Hannibal Regional for treatment of undisclosed injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
