Quincy Man in Custody for Liberty Burglaries
A Quincy man is in custody in connection with a series of burglaries in Liberty last month.
On March 31, Adams County deputies received reports of break-ins at Mike’s Place Restaurant, a neighboring building and a residence north of Liberty. At the time, deputies got reports of a suspicious male in both Liberty gas stations the night of the burglaries.
The investigation led to the arrest Friday of 27-year-old Joshua Stevens of Quincy.
Stevens is in the Adams County Jail on burglary charges, awaiting his first court appearance.
