A Quincy man is to be in Adams County Circuit Court today to face first degree murder charges. Those charges result from the death of a two month old girl in January. The girl not identified in a release from the Adams County State's Attorney's office died January 22nd at a St. Louis hospital of shaken baby syndrome. 30 year old Travis Wiley was arrested Friday on three counts of first degree murder and one count of aggravated battery following the girls death. Wiley is held in the Adams County Jail on five million dollars bond.

Wiley made his first appearance in court today with counsel. A preliminary hearing is set for July 11. He was remanded to the Adams County Jail on the $5,000,000 bond.
