A drug investigation Wednesday afternoon leads to the arrest of a Quincy man on meth related charges.

West Central Illinois Task Force agents and Adams County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted the investigation in the 100 block of South 4th about 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Officers allegedly purchased methamphetamine from 23 year old Fredrick Rouse, then served a warrant to search his apartment.

The search uncovered in excess of five grams of meth ICE, scales, drug paraphernalia and cash.

Rouse was charged with unlawful delivery of meth and unlawful possession of meth with intent to deliver and lodged in the Adams County Jail.
