Quincy Man Arrested For Home Invasion, Criminal Damage

A Quincy man was arrested early Wednesday morning on criminal damage and trespass charges.

Adams County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a possible home invasion at a residence in Loraine.

Deputies learned that a male had broken a window to at least one residence and attempted to enter one of the homes.

An investigation led to the arrest of 37 year old James Altgilbers about 7 a.m. Wednesday.

Altgilbers is charged with criminal trespass to residence, criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct, criminal damage to vehicle and driving with a revoked license.

He is lodged in the Adams County Jail.
