I saw Brittany Loter share this post on the Lost and Found Pets of Adams County Facebook page today.

I reached out to Brittany and she provided the following information about Cecil:

Cecil is around 18 years old.. he's a Sun Conure parrot.. he’s a people bird very friendly.. likes to ride on shoulders, loves to be petted, fearful of being handled so would need gloves ( was that way from previous owners I believe ) but would perch on someone’s hand I think.. he likes to sleep in his hut at night so I believe he is finding shelter somewhere.. conures like to hide inside trees in the wild.. he’s our family pet and very loved by my son...I am offering a reward for him to whoever finds him if I don’t first.

Here are a few more pics of Cecil.

If you have any information about Cecil, you can contact Brittany by on her cellphone at 217-440-5044 or at work at 217-224-7645 or you can message her through Facebook. Brittany's mom has also offered her phone number which is 217-440-6802.

Let's see if we can collectively help the Loter family find Cecil. You can also message us through our station app if you have any information we can forward to Brittany.

Brittany mentioned that she has been overwhelmed by the many who have offered help to find Cecil and she really appreciates everyone's efforts. They really do want everyone to know how grateful they are.
