Probable Cause Found in Lewis County Murder Case

Probable cause was found Wednesday to hold a Canton man over to stand trial in the shooting death of his stepfather.

19 year old Cody Wilson faces charges of first degree murder and armed criminal action.

Wilson is alleged to have shot 56 year old David Brooks on April 27th at a residence on Old Monticello Road in Lewis County.

Wilson will be arraigned in Lewis County Court July 6th. He remains in the Lewis County Jail on $1-million dollars cash only bond.
