Police: 4 Homicides in 8 hours in St. Louis

St. Louis police are investigating four homicides after a violent night in the city.

Police say the night manager at the Drury Inn & Suites was killed in a robbery attempt early Thursday. Three suspects are being sought.

Homicide detectives had already been called to three homicides beginning at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The first was a fatal shooting during a home invasion near Fountain Park. About midnight, a man was found shot in the hallway of an apartment complex in the Carondelet neighborhood. And shortly after that, one person was killed and another critically injured in a street in the Dutchtown neighborhood.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatchreports further details in the deaths have not been released.
