Pleasant Weather Week Ahead With Late Week Rain Chance

Our unseasonably pleasant August continues, with another highly tolerable week ahead weather-wise in northeast Missouri and western Illinois.

National Weather Service forecasters call for sunshine and high temperatures in the upper 70s through Wednesday. Highs are expected to touch 80 Thursday, rising to the mid 80s by Sunday.

Overnight lows for start out in the mid 50, moving into the mid 60s by Sunday.

There are slight chances of showers and thunderstorms Friday through Saturday night, with percentages standing at 20 to 30 percent for the period.
