Pittsfield Police have issued warrants for two Troy, Missouri men as the result of a traffic stop last month.

According to Chief Kenneth Yelliott, 42 year old Ryan Waters and 60 year old Michael Frye were stopped in Pittsfield on April 5th.

A search of the vehicle revealed 96 packages of what appeared to be synthetic cannabinoids that were being transported from Springfield, Illinois to Troy. The Illinois State Police crime lab confirmed that Waters and Frye were in possession of an unlawful controlled substance.

Arrest warrants were issued for the two Monday, with bond set at $10,000 each.
