An investigation by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is underway following the death of a worker at Heartland Dairy. Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish says first responders found that 51-year-old Richard Geiler suffered head trauma when he fell from the rear of a company vehicle Saturday while traveling through a feed flow area of the farm near LaBelle. Sheriff Parrish says Geiler fell when the driver accelerated from ten miles per hour to 20 miles per hour. Geiler died Monday at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
