One DUI Arrest at Quincy Roadside Safety Check

Illinois State Police say weekend roadside safety check results in one DUI arrest.
District 20 Troopers say the checkpoint late Saturday night and early Sunday morning was at 30th and State in Quincy. In addition to the DUI arrest, troopers report four other drug or alcohol citations, six drivers license offenses and one insurance violation. Troopers report a dozen citations or arrests and two written warnings. The extra enforcement was funded through the Illinois Department of Transportation.
