One Death, 81 New COVID Cases in Adams County Tuesday

The Adams County Health Department reported the COVID related death of an Adams County resident Tuesday, a female in her 70s.

Officials also reported 81 new confirmed cases of coronavirus, bringing the total cases to 5,559, with 521 active, 51 hospitalized, age 20s to 90s, eleven in ICU and now 57 deaths.

The preliminary seven-day positivity rate for cases as a percent of total tests remains steady at 6.11%.

Rapid COVID testing continues at 3200 Broadway in Quincy Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from 10 to 2.
