Adams Co Health Department Announces 2024 Flu Clinics

The cold & flu season will be here before you know it, so now is the time to prepare you and your family.

The Adams County Health Department announced their 2024 flu clinics for the Adams County area.

• Thursday, September 26 - Ursa Farmers Coop Co-Admin Office 7:30 am-9:30 am
  2397 Hwy 96 N Ursa
• Sunday, September 29 - John Wood Community College Drive-Thru 11 am-1 pm 1301 South 48th Street Quincy
• Wednesday, October 2 - Liberty High School 3 pm - 5 pm 505 N Park St, Liberty
• Tuesday, October 8 - Payson Elementary School 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
  404 W State St, Payson
• Wednesday, October 16 - Unity Elementary School 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
  136 W. Washington, Mendon
• Thursday, October 24 - Central High School 4 pm - 7 pm
  2110 HWY 94 N, Camp Point

There is a cost to get the flu vaccine. It will run you $35 and $85 for high doses, but most insurance companies offer a $0 copay. The Adams County Health Department will do something different this year in providing a preregistration option for all the clinics.

However, you can skip that option at just call during normal business hours Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
