Officials with the Adams County Health Department Friday reported the death of a county resident due to COVID related illness, a male in his 70s.

Officials also reported 32 new confirmed cases of coronavirus Friday.

The Adams County COVID case total now stands at 7,793, with 196 active, 19 hospitalized, age teens to 90s, two in intensive care and now 109 deaths.

The seven-day positivity rate for cases as a percent of total tests remains steady at 2.45%.

A reminder that the Rapid COVID testing site at the Oakley Lindsay Center will be closed Sunday due to the anticipated bitter cold weather, and the site will begin its new hours Monday, with rapid testing available from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
