One Arrest Follows Burglary In Progress Call in Hannibal

One man is in custody following an early morning burglary at a Hannibal convenience store.

Hannibal Police sergeant Chad Collier says they responded to a report of a burglary in progress at Abels at 12th and Broadway at 1:15 Wednesday morning. Police say they found 27-year-old Ted Kealen inside, trashing the store and destroying property.

Police say Kealen was arrested when he came out of the store and surrendered about 15 minutes later. Police say no items were taken from the store.
