North Carolina Man Injured in Adams County DUI Crash

(ADAMS)—An SUV crash at 1620 North 703rd Lane in Adams County at 1:12 this (FR) morning results in serious injuries and DUI charges for the driver.

Adams County Sheriff’s deputies say 24-year-old Douglas Hartley of North Carolina failed to negotiate a curve and went off the road. His SUV hit a concrete wall. Deputies say Hartley was taken to Blessing Hospital by private vehicle.

A passenger, 24-year-old Jeremiah Martin of Liberty, was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Hartley is charged with DUI and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
