Newark MO Man Arrested for Methadone Possession

A Newark man is held in the Lewis County Jail following his arrest on a drug related charge.

Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish says 47 year old Warner Wheeler is charged with possession of Methadone—a controlled substance. The Sheriff’s department says Wheeler was also ticketed for driving without a valid operator’s license. Wheeler is held in the Lewis County Jail on ten thousand dollars cash only bond.
