A Hannibal man is in the Lewis County Jail on drug related charges.

Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish reports a deputy observed a vehicle running a stop sign near LaGrange Monday.

As a result of the ensuing traffic stop, a search of the vehicle revealed a substance believed to be methamphetamine along with drug paraphernalia.

Deputies took 26 year old Zachary Laffey of Hannibal into custody on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Laffey is in the Lewis County Jail on $10,000 bond.
