New London Woman Arrested on Theft Charges

An investigation by the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office results in the arrest of a New London woman on theft charges.

Deputies received a report from a Highland High School student October 26th that items were taken from her vehicle while it was parked in the school’s parking lot.

The investigation led to the arrest Thursday at the Mark Twain Casino of 44 year old Tammy Pruitt of rural New London. She is also a suspect in other vehicle related thefts.

Pruitt is in the Lewis County Jail on $10,000 cash only bond.
