Talks will continue next week between negotiators with the Quincy Public School and the union representing teachers and other district personnel.

A ten hour session between the two sides ended early Thursday morning with no agreement reached.

District personnel have been working without a contract since the beginning of the current school year.

Salaries and contract language are the main items of contention between the two sides.

They are scheduled to sit down with a federal mediator next Tuesday.
