Nebraska Men Found Guilty in Quincy Child Abduction
Two Nebraska men were found guilty Tuesday of charges connected to the kidnapping of two children from a Quincy hotel.
In a bench trial in Adams County Circuit Court, 26 year old Christopher Loupin was found guilty of two counts of child abduction and 55 year old Eddie Loupin was found guilty of two counts of aiding and abetting child abduction.
The two, along with a third man, are alleged to have taken Christopher Loupin’s children from the Stoney Creek Inn in May of 2015.
The three men and the children were found a day later near Macon, on their way to Nebraska.
Christopher Loupin was sentenced to 180 days in the Adams County Jail with credit for 58 days served. Eddie Loupin gets 45 days of county time with credit for 15 days served.
Both men also get two years’ probation.
