6 Real Hollywood Movies are Casting in Missouri This Year

I've never wanted to be a movie star. What I see in my mirror every day should not be on the big screen or your TV. But, if you still hold out hopes of Hollywood stardom, I did find 6 real Hollywood movies that are casting in Missouri this year.

I had this genius idea to play the role of Hollywood enabler when I saw this list from Stacker about movies shooting in Missouri. The problem is their list does not look accurate, so I had to go do some additional research. About half of the movies they listed are not being shot in the Show Me State. Here are ones that are however that I found on Backstage:

'Pray For Pac'

Synopsis - "a surrealist webisode pilot dramedy, set in the city of St. Louis, Missouri. The series follows the protagonist, “Paco”, and his close-knit group of friends as they try to escape their individual situations and the trappings of the city itself."

Shoots in August through October in St. Louis, Missouri

'Paralysis'

Synopsis - "Set in the year 1978...Paralysis” follows Robbie, an aspiring painter who was involved in a terrible car accident ten years ago where his entire family drowned except for him...Having buried that trauma for years, it suddenly rears its head when he sees visions of his dead father."

Shoots in Kansas City and Branson, Missouri this year

'Luna In Love'

This is an action/comedy feature film looking for lead actors of all genders age 17 and older.

Shoots in St. Louis, Missouri beginning in September

'Amilia'

Synopsis: "A girl who grew up in a well-standardized Christian family. Her life gets a weird turn when the friend of her best friend’s boyfriend defiles her. Now with all the rough patches she encounters, she is stuck on either avenging or forgetting it all."

Casting in Kansas City, Missouri, but shooting in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in August
