More Northeast Missouri Road Reopen as River Recedes
With the Mississippi River continuing to fall, more northeast Missouri roads have been reopened.
The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced that U.S. 61 and 136 between Alexandria, Missouri and Keokuk, Iowa is open as MODOT crews completed necessary repairs and cleaning of the roadway Monday morning.
Also reopened to traffic Monday afternoon were Missouri Route 79 from north of Pike County Route N to Route W in Clarksville.
Route N in Pike County has also been reopened after being closed due to high water.
