The Missouri Department of Transportation reported a vehicle hit a power line on Highway 61 just north of Bowling Green about 9 a.m. Tuesday, closing all four lanes of the highway for a little over three hours.

MODOT also reported power lines in the road after a vehicle incident caused a closure of the Highway 36 South Outer Road between Shinn Lane and Fiddlestiks restaurant west of Hannibal about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Officials said it took over four hours to get that stretch of road reopened.
