Mistrial Declared in Quincy Murder Trial

An Adams County jury is unable to agree on a verdict in the first degree murder trial of Steven Gavin.
A mistrial was declared early this (WE) morning. the case went to the jury Tuesday morning. Representatives of both sides expressed disappointment in the development. A status hearing for the next trial is set for this morning. Gavin is accused of shooting Carlos Wires to death in November of 2015 in a residence on North 4th.
