Missouri Unemployment Down

(UNDATED) --  Northeast Missouri unemployment numbers reported for October are the lowest in a few years.

Non-seasonally adjusted rates are down in many counties in the last three months. Hannibal’s unemployment rate is reported below five percent for the first time since May of 2008.

Statewide unemployment numbers match the trend in northeast Missouri where 10 of 13 counties saw decreases and rates in the other three were unchanged between September and October.
