Missouri Farm Bureau officials respond to reports of Grain Belt Express soliciting easements during the COVID-19 pandemic. 
Farm Bureau President Blake Hurst says landowners who have been visited over the last week by agents seeking easements for the Grain Belt Express transmission line are understandably alarmed. Hurst says that those in charge should know better and that visits should be suspended to restrict travel and social contact. Hurst adds that the rush to grab easements during a pandemic is an example of the company putting profit before people.
