You might remember the scene in 'Hoosiers' where the Hickory Huskers finished a game with just four players on the court.

Marion County won a game last Thursday night at Atlanta with just two players on the court at the end of the game. I've worked a few thousand basketball games over the last 40 years and can count on one hand the number of times where one team finished with four on the court. The Mustangs won playing 2 on 5 in the closing minutes after four players fouled out. No rule against that either.

In the Hoosiers movie, the Hickory Huskers play a man short because of a disciplinary issue as coach Norman Dale makes a point about playing the game his way. "My team is on the floor". Thursday night's game was 2 on 5 due to foul trouble. And Ty Bowdish of the Mustangs finished the night with four fouls.

The folks at Maxpreps took notice.
