Quincy Police Warn of Officer Impersonation

Quincy Police warn that someone may be trying to impersonate a police officer.
Police say they were made aware of an individual in an unmarked, dark colored passenger car possibly trying to impersonate an officer. Quincy Police do have a black, unmarked Ford SUV that is frequently used for patrol purposes. Police say that if an unmarked vehicle attempts to make contact or conduct a traffic stop and you are not sure it is a police officer, call 911 and confirm the vehicle or person contacting you is in fact, a Quincy Police officer.
